Avalanche’s Codebase is Back for Cohort 2
At College DAO, we’re always on the lookout for opportunities that can accelerate our community’s journey in the web3 space. Codebase is one of our favorite such opportunities — and their team has consistently demonstrated its commitment to transforming visionary builders into extraordinary founders.
After an incredibly successful first round that saw groundbreaking projects emerge from the student ranks, Codebase is back with even more resources and support for exceptional students in our network.
Applications for Cohort 2 are open — they close on September 1. We encourage you to seize this opportunity to potentially join the ranks of exceptional founders making significant contributions to the next era of the internet.
Here's what applicants can expect this time around:
- Substantial Support: The program offers a $1 Million prize pool, $50K stipends per team, and an onboarding experience in Buenos Aires. This level of backing provides teams with the resources to focus fully on their projects.
- Focused Cohort: With only 5 teams selected, participants can expect personalized attention and support, maximizing the potential for each project’s success.
- Practical Experience: Codebase emphasizes real-world application, guiding teams to launch testnets and pitch to investors. This hands-on approach is invaluable in the fast-paced web3 environment.
- Ecosystem Advantage: Building on Avalanche opens doors to one of the most dynamic networks in the blockchain space, offering unparalleled networking and collaboration opportunities.
We’ve witnessed firsthand how intensive programs like Codebase can be transformative for student innovators. The journey from a conceptual idea to a market-ready product with a fully functional testnet is incredibly challenging, yet Codebase facilitates this leap in a matter of months. Going from 0–1 is the hardest part — but resources like these make the journey easier.
Here’s the full schedule to give you a good overview of the program:
To provide deeper insights, we’ve also arranged an exclusive Twitter Space with Michael Martin, Director @ Codebase. He’ll share details about the program structure and lessons learned from the inaugural cohort — information that could be pivotal in your application process. PLUS, you’ll get to speak and meet with Alumni Founders from the program.
Our advice to College DAO members: If you have a compelling web3 concept and the determination to bring it to life, Codebase could be the catalyst you need.
