College DAO and The University Blockchain Alliance are setting sail on an expedition to showcase the emerging on-campus blockchain ecosystem. We’re traveling across the United States, hosting Twitter spaces that unite students and industry professionals in a spectacular fusion of intellect and innovation. This expedition is far more than just bridging the gap between clubs and the industry; it’s an opportunity to gather and exchange ideas, cultivating a community that thrives on growth and ingenuity.
Driven by a passion for progress and recognizing the importance of fostering connections, College DAO’s Twitter Tour aims to support the blossoming blockchain ecosystem. As we journey across the country, visiting universities and exploring their vibrant communities, we’ve come to understand that we are uniquely positioned to connect these communities with the industry like never before. This timely endeavor stands as a testament to our mission: driving mass adoption through education and access to opportunities. The Twitter Tour’s goals are multifaceted but ultimately serve to support the on-campus blockchain community, enabling them to lead and educate. By providing a range of educational experiences, we aim to help these campus communities grow their social media presence, immerse themselves in Web3 culture, learn to use innovative tools like Link3, and foster networking and collaboration between regional blockchain clubs. Part of the rationale for grouping clubs by regions was to foster cross-pollination across universities and pave the way for future collaborations.
Two remarkable partners, CyberConnect and WhaleCoinTalk, have joined forces with College DAO to bring this Twitter Tour to life.
CyberConnect is web3’s earliest and biggest decentralized social network, which enables developers to create social applications empowering users to own their digital identity, content, connections, and interactions. As a leading partner of College DAO in the Decentralized Social space, CyberConnect is dedicated to helping us gather the brightest minds to create a better future for blockchain innovation. They will be supporting university clubs with workshops, incubation programs, and hackathons, and is also responsible for building the tools needed to power this Twitter Tour.
The CyberConnect ecosystem’s flagship application, Link3, empowers this Twitter Tour with its Web3-native event toolkits, such as SBT issuance. Another highlight is the Link3 Event Embed feature that let organizations seamlessly embed events on their websites, with event details (date, time, description, and links) auto-generated in panel form. Such toolkits aim to help every university club better engage with its members and partners.

WhaleCoinTalk partnered with College DAO earlier this year to provide a platform for students to share their thoughts, discoveries, and stories with the wider Web3 community. Their valuable mentorship in navigating Twitter Spaces and capitalizing on opportunities has been instrumental in realizing our vision for the Twitter Tour. Additionally, as a company that values the student’s voice, they are the perfect addition to conversations we will be embarking on.
